We amend our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (also known as GDPR).

What does this mean for you?

As a visitor to our website, customer or member of the Caribbean Academy of Business of our platform, you have the right to know what information we collect about you and how we use it, and that you can exercise control over it. In preparation for the new data protection legislation that comes into force on May 25, 2018, we have updated our privacy policy so that you can access and make decisions about the data that you share with us. We collect two types of information: Cookie data and Information that you provide to us. We do not collect or use information for purposes other than the purposes described in this Privacy Policy unless we have obtained permission in advance.

The new general conditions and the new privacy policy take effect on 25 May 2018. By using our services on or from that date, you agree to these changes. If you do not agree with the change or have questions, you can contact us.

Customer / Membership

If you enter into a membership with us, we ask you to provide personal information. This data is used to perform our services. For example, to send a quotation, to make contact, to make appointments or to invoice.

Participation in our platform cannot be made anonymously. We simply need data from our customers and members. We assume that you understand this. And that you think it’s good that we process and apply your personal data for it.

As a visitor you can use the website without stating your personal details. We only collect personal data via our website that has been provided clearly and voluntarily by visitors via our contact form, registration form or our newsletter. We only send newsletters if you have given us permission or if you are a customer of Caribbean Academy of Business. We only collect your first and last name, possibly company name and e-mail address for that purpose. At the bottom of every mailing you will find the option to unsubscribe.
