ITPC – Software Development is Expensive by Nature, or is it? With Randy Marques on Tuesday April 30th, 2019 at Taste Of Belgium (Membership required)
April 30, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Free
In this presentation you will explore what is being achieved in the area of software development and especially Software Quality.
The amount and the quality of tools in software engineering have never been so great, and yet we seem to see more and more software failure. Is it just a matter of perception or is software quality really getting worse? For some reason or another we do not seem to get it right. Is it the programmers? The designers? The project leaders? The managers?
This talk acknowledges the challenges of the profession of software development and then proceeds to discuss what can be done to minimize the risks.
